Great book!

You can't go wrong with an Elsevier product. This book is great for my OB/PEDS class. It's very informative and the information is easy to read and understand. I use the book code online and use the resources provided for my book like practice quizzes before the tests. I find that really helps a lot.

Some idiot put the diagram on the wrong page. So much for critical thinking skills-an essential when it comes to, well, NURSING. Good Lord. Prolapsed Umbilical Cord, page 194 & 195, then 'Uterine Rupture' on page 195, then on page 196..."Positioning of the mother when the umbilical cord prolapses." AFTER the topic is over & the next topic has already begun.

Sexual Tension satisfaction!

Samantha Cayto is a brand new find for me. An author who also writes m/f erotica, and I have to say I’m liking her m/m books and writing style in general. I discovered Ms Cayto in passing, when I spotted an upcoming new release of hers, with a blurb that really spoke to me so I requested it to review ASAP. A darker, Sci Fi slave-fic I'll be reviewing—(watch this space!)—that I absolutely loved!

At the end of the story there was an excerpt of Man Candy that grabbed me, so I just had to go buy the book to finish it off!

The story features Brent, a jaded, thirty something war photographer who is recovering from an injury sustained during his last assignment, and 'Danny,' real name Alex; a gorgeous young stripper he first encounters dancing at a club, where one of his friends has taken him as a means to take his mind off his recent trauma. They have a hot 'moment' of sorts but as far a Brent is concerned, it’s just a one off meeting, so he leaves thinking it’s the last time he'll see the tempting young minx. A week later he encounters Danny/Alex again, working at his families candy store in Maine where he's staying while he recuperates, and of course the attraction that sparked at the club rears its head again and the story kicks off.

Brent is an experienced Dom but hasn't had time for a regular submissive in his life because of his dangerous, time consuming career, so when Alex comes into his life it's hard not to give in to the temptation of the sexy young guy, who shows signs of being a natural submissive...something that of course calls to his dominance. However, Alex is only twenty one and even though he strips to help himself through college, and he's fooled around a bit, he's actually a virgin and until he’s finished school is still dependent on his parents who have no idea that he's gay.

Alex is desperately attracted to the older man he wants to finally take his virginity, and when they do give in to their physical attraction, finds himself happily exploring the submissive side that Brent brings out in him during their heated sexual encounters. His new lover is all man, but he's also a caring Dom who takes time to gently coach him through the BDSM play they indulge in; gaining his trust immediately, but with Alex being deeply closeted, and Brent worrying about his next assignment and the age difference between them, a relationship beyond a bit of secretive sex isn't really a feasible option. Or is it?

I’m a sexual tension girl and Samantha Cayto kept a palpable feeling of ST throughout the book, which started in the opening chapter and kept going through to the finish, leaving me very satisfied on that front.

It's not a story that brings anything particularly new to the table but it's written in an easy, laid back way that I inhaled in one sitting because I really liked what I was reading. The D/s scenes are lightweight but steamy, with a nice touch of kink, consisting mainly of a little bondage, some lighter breath play and spanking, and has a sweetness to it that adds an emotional connection to their scenes together. So even if BDSM isn’t normally your thing, I don’t think it would be a problem.

I enjoyed this so much I went off and bought a couple more of her m/m contemporary's, requested another slave story to review for the blog, and will certainly be on the lookout for more releases from Ms Cayto in the future! Just one thing…the guys on the cover don’t bear any resemblance to the characters I pictured in my head…just saying… but a very enjoyable read nonetheless!

Gay Love Story in Coastal Maine

This is one of the most delightful books by Samantha. In this story, Brent who is a war photographer and a Dom has been talked into going to a male strip show where he becomes super attracted to a stripper whose stage name is Danny. Several months later, recovering from an injury, Brent plans to spend the summer in a small coastal town in Maine staying at a place that rents cabins on the water to gay men. In fact the entire town has become a magnet for gay men. While walking around the town, he spots a candy store where he sees Danny, although his real name is Alex and it is Alex's family's very successful business. Alex works there during the summer and is about to return at the end of the summer to college for his senior year. That night, Alex waits for Brent to come back to his cabin and tells him that he is a complete virgin and seriously wants Brent to teach him the gay sex that he wants but has had almost no experience with. While Alex is 21, Brent is reluctant to do so, but finally gives in. Over several weeks, Brent initiates Alex not only into gay sex, but also into light BDSM. It turns out that Alex is not only a fast learner but is also a perfect Sub. This is a truly wonderful love story; even those of you who dislike BDSM will enjoy it. Don't let it pass you by. Buy it, read it and experience a truly superb love story which is also extremely sexually stimulating.

Excellent Book

This book does a very good job of presenting a wide range of mechanisms used in space-flight applications. It provides a good description to understand the basic operating principles of the various mechanisms with enough detail to figure out which type of a particular mechanism may be best suited to a particular application. I believe this book also does a good job of not getting too bogged down into abstract and esoteric details. If one wanted to find the aforementioned details, each section has with it a very good list of references; furthermore, each section was written by experts in the field of each type of mechanism presented rather then by a single author who tries to portray some knowledge in all or many areas.

About the Author
David Emory Shi is a professor of history and the president emeritus of Furman University. He is the author of several books on American cultural history, including the award-winning The Simple Life: Plain Living and High Thinking in American Culture and Facing Facts: Realism in American Thought and Culture, 1850–1920.

George Brown Tindall spent many years on the faculty of the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. He was an award-winning historian of the South with a number of major books to his credit, including The Emergence of the New South.

Erik Anderson (San Antonio College, Texas) teaches American history and is involved with the Honors Academy. He also serves as the academic liaison with the Travis Early College High School program at San Antonio College. Anderson earned his doctorate at Brown University

Jonathan Lee (San Antonio College, Texas) served on the American Historical Association/Lumina Tuning Project and educational commissions in the state of Texas to establish discipline-wide historical learning outcomes. He received the “Most Inspirational Professor” award from Phi Theta Kappa Beta Nu. He is the coordinator of the Honors Academy at San Antonio College.

This is an invaluable book for anyone wanting to learn about the properties and working qualities of this unique material. Special handling and a slightly different approach is needed to be successful. This book prepares the reader and contributes greatly to success. These Ceramic Handbooks are an excellent series and I would encourage anyone beginning or even considering using porcelain to read and own it. The information is both chemical and practical leaving the reader with a comprehensive knowledge not found in other books .This is just the book I was looking for and pairs beautifully with another in the series titled .......Coloring Clay by Jo Connell.
